to Door Sales people Very
nice people, I’m sure. However, it has come to our attention that
a door to door salesman is currently operating in Borders. He is selling
books to assist parents with their children’s learning and homework
etc. I haven’t seen the books and can therefore make no comment
on their suitability. I’m sure the product is of a fair quality.
But, part of the sales pitch is to mention the local school’s Headteacher’s
name and also names of staff members. Although it is not claimed that
the HT endorses the product there is that insinuation. No approach has
been made by the company either to Halyrude or to HQ, we would just like
you to be aware that we play no part in this. |
